Location
Low Tatras mountain range stretches through charming valleys of Váh and Hron rivers in the length of almost 100 km. Its highest peaks are Ďumbier (2043 m), Chopok (2024 m) and Dereše (2004 m). At present day, Low Tatras are the second most visited mountains in Slovakia. Nevertheless they retain its uniqueness and richness of flora and fauna. They are home to many protected species of plants and animals.
Tále's location stretching out under the southern slopes of Chopok and Ďumbier peaks allows for a varied year-round use for leisure purposes. The south side of Chopok region was a preferred destination of many famous Slovak writers, painters and composers. The Empress Maria Theresa also chose this location as their place of relaxation. The scenic beauty of nature and its diversity have beneficial effects on the region to this day.
Tourist variety of Low Tatras region allows for year-round use for active leisure and regeneration. Besides winter sports the region provides a wide range of other options to enrich the leisure time. Golf course Grey Bear - Tale

GRAY BEAR is the first championship golf course in Slovakia. It's a par 71, the shortest hole is 126 meters and the longest 569 meters. The course is located in the recreation area Tále with a well-developed infrastructure and stretches over an area of 60 ha. The scenery of the mountain valley is rich in natural beauty and the course is a challenge for all players. The firm play surfaces are covered with a mixture of grass, that can be found at British Open courses in Scotland. The Golf course has recently been extended to 27 holes.
Ski resort - Tále

The Ski resort is suitable for both demanding and less demanding skiers. The resort offers 5 ski lifts, maintained snowboarding and sledge area, cross-country track with a radius of 6.5 km, snow-tubing and a fun winter game Eisstockschiessen.
Lyžiarske stredisko - Jasná

The interlinked southern and northern side of Chopok creates a unique ski resort in Central Europe with about 60 km of ski slopes. Jasna Low Tatras Ski area forms a tributary area for visitors of Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary. Increasingly, the resort attracts visitors from Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. The international character of the resort, a 5 month snow guarantee and good infrastructure are a great promise for further expansion in the near future.
Ski resort - Mýto pod Ďumbierom

Mýto pod Ďumbierom is suitable for experienced skiers. It offers 3 ski lifts and a chairlift with a maximum length of 1460 m and 300 m of super-elevation.

Nature Wellness Center Hotel PARTIZÁN

Nature Wellness Center is one of the most advanced wellness centers in Slovakia. On an area of 1650 m2 it offers six kinds of sauna, Roman bath, Kneipp path, panoramic jacquzzi, crushed ice, adventure igloo, cooling pool with cliff and pebble beaches. For the youngest guests there is a children's pool and a fairytale world of Ferdo Mravec (The Ant Ferdo - famous animation character).
Bystrianska Cave

The Bystrianska Cave is the most important cave of the Upper Hron River Valley. It is known by remarkable rocky features and evolution of underground spaces, occurrence of flowstone fills as well as by favourable climatic conditions for speleotherapeutical treatment. The cave is accessible since 1968 and has a length of 490 m. The cave has an abyss character, dominated by curtains hanging on edges of flowstone crusts. Since 1971, the Bystrianska Cave is used for speleotherapy.
Jaskyňa mŕtvych netopierov (The Dead Bats Cave)

The cave is situated at an altitude of 1,510 meters above sea level. Tours are available with professional speleological guides. An educational tourist trail to the cave starts at Trangoška. The complexity of the cave ranks it among the most important Slovak caves. The cave has a length of 16.2 km and a depth of 300 m. It consists of 14 levels with a central level representing level 4, at an altitude of 1,750 meters above sea level. Visitors have a choice of three cave trails, the longest of which allows up to 12-hour tour.
